Find real life examples of alternation of generations in plants around campus or your home and identify the stage with a picture.

These flowers contain both megasopre and microspore structures in the forms of stamen and carpels. This sporophyte tissue is diploid. Within the megaspore and microspore, however, megagametephytes and microgametaphytes are being produced in the form of eggs and pollin, respectively. These tissues are haploid.
